Who We Are
QTABS is a trainee-led organization supported by the Inclusive Excellence Leadership Award from the UCI School of Biological Sciences Office of DEI.
We are a collective of LGBTQIA+ and allied graduate, post-doctoral, and staff researchers within the biological and biomedical fields at UC Irvine.
Our events are open to all trainees who wish to build an affirming research community spanning the many disciplines that interact with biology, health, and medicine.

QTABS event programming centers around the unique needs and interests of LGBTQIA+ trainees to establish a sense of belonging and community to provide necessary support for Queer researchers to succeed and thrive within Biological and Biomedical sciences.
